By accessing or using BookMamu (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, you must use our services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and update it as needed.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these terms or is inactive.

4. Services Offered

BookMamu allows users to buy and sell new and used books. We facilitate transactions but do not directly sell books unless explicitly mentioned.

5. Orders and Payments

• All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways.
• Orders placed are binding and cannot be canceled unless agreed upon by the seller.
• BookMamu is not responsible for pricing errors made by users or third-party sellers.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders within the promised delivery window. BookMamu may assist with logistics but is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.

7. Returns & Refunds

• Buyers may request refunds or replacements within 3 days of delivery in case of damage, misrepresentation, or wrong items.
• Refund eligibility is determined by BookMamu after verifying seller and buyer communication.
• Shipping costs for returns may be borne by the buyer or seller depending on the case.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Selling pirated, illegal, or restricted books or materials.
• Using BookMamu to harass, abuse, or impersonate others.
• Posting misleading or fraudulent content or reviews.
• Violating intellectual property rights of others.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on BookMamu, including logos, text, images, software, and layout, is owned or licensed by BookMamu and protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

We provide the platform “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, or error-free access to our services. Product quality or condition is the seller’s responsibility unless sold by BookMamu directly.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookMamu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or services.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services for violation of these Terms or any illegal activities. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Changes to Terms

BookMamu may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
